Education

I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and a minor in Anthropology. My coursework revolved around reading and writing - and then editing that writing. I spent a lot of time fine tuning my own work and helping other classmates with theirs.

Writing Experience

In University, I was chosen to be a participant in the University Scholars Program. I was tasked with writing a thesis on the topic of my choice. I wrote about King Richard III, former King of England, and his reputation over time. My thesis was selected to be published in the Journal of Undergraduate Research. I am also currently employed by Screen Rant as a feature writer for the gaming industry. In this position, I have been able to write creatively and in a journalism setting. I have had several articles published. A few are listed on the portfolio page.

Editing Experience

Most of the writing I have done, both professionally and in my education, I have edited myself. I am practiced at all kinds of editing, which you can learn more about on the Editing Services page. In my current position as a Publishing Assistant at Open Book Publishing, I am responsible for editing my clients’ work, as well as content for the company itself. Check out the services page on the site for an example. Once my clients’ works are published, they will be linked here.

Extras

For some extra information about me, I was born and raised in Florida. I have a huge passion for books - I always have one with me. In my free time, I enjoy video games and playing with my cat, Winnie.
